Barbara began her health and wellness career part time in 2006 while working full time on Wall Street. She retired from her Wall Street job in 2009 which provided her the opportunity to fully engage in her true passion. She has since specialized in Barre, Pilates, TRX and Health Coaching and has been practicing for the last 10 years. In addition to her fitness certifications, Barbara holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Consumer Economics from Montclair State University with a concentration in Nutrition. Barbara believes in the importance of exercise for everyone as a way of life and the key to managing one’s health and well being. Barbara enjoys spending time with her husband Joe, who is her biggest supporter and her children Stephanie and Jillian, her new son in law Mike and newest edition grandson Nolan. Mentoring, helping and encouraging others about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle are her passion. Barbara also enjoys preparing, choreographing and teaching group exercise classes, reading books and articles on fitness and nutrition, traveling and playing tennis.
She brings her vast Wall Street experience to Managed Fitness, in particular her expertise is in both risk management and process re-engineering enables her design and develop unique all inclusive fitness programs that are safe, effective and measurable.
